Founder & CEO

Thabo is the founder and Group CEO of Hammer & Anvil Ventures, where he serves as both the custodian of the company’s strategic vision and the driving force behind its engineering and operational execution. With over a decade of experience spanning renewable energy, infrastructure finance, and stakeholder engagement, Thabo leads a multidisciplinary team delivering solar PV development, energy strategy, and financial advisory to clients across South Africa and beyond. His project track record includes commercial and industrial solar systems (100kW–10MW) as well as large-scale utility projects (10MW–100MW), always with a focus on delivering operational excellence and sustainable outcomes. Thabo’s leadership style blends technical precision with entrepreneurial agility—ensuring that Hammer & Anvil’s clients achieve measurable savings, regulatory clarity, and long-term resilience in a fast-changing energy landscape.

Executive Operations Associate

Kago is a dynamic property and facilities professional with a solid foundation in real estate and a growing footprint in multidisciplinary industries. Backed by a degree in Real Estate and professional certifications in Engineering Project Management, Property Development, Valuation & Real Estate Investing, she brings both technical knowledge and practical expertise to every role. Over the years, she has successfully managed diverse property portfolios, streamlined operations, overseen compliance and led maintenance coordination with precision. Today, she spearheads marketing and drives key initiatives at Hammer and Anvil, elevating the brand and aligning strategies across the company’s divisions. Ravi is a seasoned finance leader who leads Hammer & Anvil’s finance workstream. He has over 16 years of experience driving strategic financial decisions, investment analysis, and corporate advisory across global markets. His experience covering such as financial services, renewables, infrastructure, energy, technology, and industrials is underpinned by qualifications in Mechanical Engineering as well as Finance & Strategy. He has held finance leadership roles where he was responsible for shaping capital allocation strategy, managing investment decisions, managing end-to-end financial planning, developing advanced valuation models, leading due diligence processes, advising on M&A and fundraising and supporting board-level initiative.
